The sheet of water of the lake of Bracciano links since decennials to the disciplines of sailing and windsurf. The lake regularly hosts international competitive events of the two disciplines and for amateurs provides a perfect environment to try these sports in the most convenient and easier conditions of light and constant wind and calm waters.

Equally renowned are the Mediterranean seawaters around Santa Marinella, Santa Severa and Civitavecchia that offer different possibilities of sailing and windsurfing with strong winds from all directions.
